Every one got there results?

Hey Friends I have applied for the Phd program in EECS department in December they still haven't made any decision on my application. I would like to know whether any one of you is also facing the same issue? Do think there is any chance of an admit after a long wait?

What do you think guys, how likely one can get an admit in the month of April? The result search showed admit to be a very "rare event" but result search alone cannot be trusted. All comments are welcome

I am still waiting, looks like this week will pass too without news.

Do Harvard send these decisions via courier or snail mail?

This is very annoying indeed I wonder what is happening to my application. I will also bug them for my status.

Hi Friends Any ideas as when Harvard finally give out results. I saw very few admits in the result section but I am sure that many people out there have applied. To those who have already got admits, did profs contacted you before handing you the admit?

I am also facing the same issue. I applied to the EE Dept.

We are in the same boat dude don't worry. I understand that days are getting longer and longer without an admit.

I have no ideal and I am still waiting, I believe there is still hope for us.

Hi Friends I was searching through the last year's admission trends, it looks like we are in a month when results starts to trickle in. Already there was a poster that some one was contacted by UCB prof and then an admit! Scary moments............. I thought it will be nice to start a thread dedicated to EECS results discussion

Hello Friends I have applied to UCLA EE Dept and have recently received an email from the admission office saying that admission decisions are expected to be released at the end-of-February to the middle-of-March. Mail also gave links of possible sources of funding that one may wish to apply. After reading this mail I was wondering, are they preparing me for a rejection and telling me that if you can get money form one of these sources then only we will read your application. Has anyone out there got a similar mail?

Dear Friends I have few doubts related to the decision process on PhD applications. What is the role of Student Admission Committee for selecting candidates for PhD admission? Do they make decision first throw away junk application and give the rest to professors or it is the other way?
