couldn't we potentially be waiting on these wait lists until just before classes start? I was hoping I would have more clarity around the 16th but I haven't heard a peep from my top choice school (where i am waitlisted)

I'm not sure if anyone on here was at Radford today for the accepted students open house, but if you're considering Radford, I just want you to know that it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! They really blew me away! Message me if you have any questions!

so how do you go about getting a written release? just ask the department head of the university where you accepted an offer?

Is anyone waiting to hear from IUP and California University of PA? I haven't heard and I would like to know so I can make my decision!

I am in the same boat! I was told that there aren't any long term repercussions to turning down your offer after accepting it. No, it isn't easy and it probably doesn't look great but these types of things happen all the time. Good luck!!

So if you're offered an assistantship you're bound to that school if you accept their offer? I applied for an assistantship at a school I was accepted to and will hear in a few days. However, I am waitlisted at my top choice school and won't find out if I am accepted until a little after April 15. If I am given the assistantship, is it still okay to ask for an extension?

Does anyone know anything about IC's SLP Program? I visited recently and I really loved it, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything else about it? Does it have a good reputation? Any information you can provide me with is really appreciated! Thanks!

Does anyone know anything about Radford University? I was accepted there a few weeks ago and I am heading to the open house on April 3rd. I am excited to be accepted but I know very little about the program. If anyone can give me some information, I'd really appreciate it!

Yes I agree! It's getting more and more frustrating to wait it out. The april 15th decision deadline is really looming.

I applied to Edinboro as well. I see someone on the results page emailed them about his/her status and found out he/she was waitlisted. That makes me think I was as well I decided to send an email to graduate admissions but I haven't heard back yet.

Did anyone apply to IUP? If so, do you know when we can expect to hear from them?

It was a good visit. I was just frustrated that they seemed disorganized with the information about scholarships. Also, one of the professors showed up like a half hour late- that was a little annoying. However, the program seemed really exciting because they are building a beautiful new speech pathology building close to the medical center. They also said that they'll get you assistantships basically anywhere you want in the whole country, which was awesome! I also was super impressed with Knoxville. It's a very quiet city but it was really beautiful, and the restaurants were great!

I went to the accepted students day on the 14th. They didn't have that decided yet. It sounds like we can expect to hear next week. They are currently on spring break.
