I called LB today, to tell them I need to know what their decision is--the girl was so rude. She said you need to wait and that their process has always been this way. June or July guys. Ugh. It's ridiculous! I feel like they put me in the worst situation ever!!!

I got accepted to USC. I applied Januay 15. 3.47 GPA business management major from CSUN. Hell yes. But still waiting for CSULb.

I don't check my status online because they never update it. I spoke to the administrator at csulb she said it's best to just wait for an email. I am on the pending list at csulb. Rejected from csun.

I have a 3.47 gpa. Undergrad: business manamagement from CSUN. I provided a letter of recommendation from a CSUN professor. Have 4 years' of experience working with older adults. CSUN's program is new, they don't have room to accept everyone. I am on CSULB's pending list.

Received a rejection letter from CSUN. 400 applicants they could only accept 100. Said a lot of qualified applicants were rejected.

I applied to CSUN and USC. LB is my top choice. I went to CSUN for undergrad, I want a change.

Is this a fact or an assumption? CSUN never stated that an interview is part of their admission process in their application. Was anyone accepted to CSUN without an interview?

I know. It's too late. I applied in February. I am on pins and needles every day. I check my email constantly. They said all I can do at this time in the application process, is wait.

I emailed them. She said June or July they will contact the applicants who are in pending status. Did you receive anything from them regardinh your status?

CSUN has been sending out a lot of acceptance letters. Most have been interviewed prior to that. I am confused as to what their process is. Does no interview request mean no interest? Did anyone get accepted to CSUN w/o an interview? Or did anyone get interviewed then rejected? Please share.

My undergrad is business management too. As long as you have a strong resume in social workk.... i was told this when i contacted long beach. The assistant said undergrad doesn't matter. I'm playing the waiting game too. Good luck

Yes, I received an email with a letter attachment stating that my application is im pending status. However, CSULB does not consider this a waiting status. It simply means my app. Is placed on hold because they were waiting for all applications to come thru. A week after i received a second email stating my app. Is in final departmental review.

I applied to CSUN and CSULB late December. I am on the pending list at CSULB. No news from CSUN.

I hate this waiting game I haven't heard anything from CSUN either! Ugh

I picked Older Adults and Families (3yr Option) as my first choice. If not, then I am fine with the full-time program OR the Children Youth and Families. My friend graduated from CSULB 2 years ago. She said her first choice was Children, Youth and Families (2 yrs). Then in late June CSULB contacted her and offered her the Older adults (2yr) concentration. She took it. She loved it. Found a job within 2 months.

I got two emails in the past week from CSULB. One stating my application is pending status and the other (received today) said it was sent for final departmental review. What's your status as of today?

Did you hear anything yet? @lucyyy19 and myself received a second email stating our app. has gone to the final departmental review. We were on pending status...

I wasn't expecting this email. I thought I would just get a final email with the admission decision... hmmm....
