Anyone planning to decline their BU anthro offer? I'm on the wait list and would love to go

I wish they would let people know where they are on the wait list! It's so frustrating!

I'm in the same boat, wait listed at BU. I'm hoping this will be an unusual year and I will get in but not holding out a lot of hope.

I did my undergrad at UNLV and there were a number of students there that were accepted to the PhD without a MA. Maybe the wording was misleading or something?

Anyone want to speculate about the BU update this morning? Why would they hold on to your application if they didn't interview you? Do they only pick from the people they interview?

Does anyone know if Boston always does interviews for the people they accept? I feel like I am really annoying, constantly asking about BU, but this process is making me crazy. As in, an actual crazy person.

Did everyone that received a rejection from BU anthropology department inquiry with the department before they got that response? Or did BU send out rejections unprompted?

I called the department this morning and was told my application was still under review. What does this MEEEEAAANNNN!?!?! I can't take the suspense! Also I am bio anth not archaelogy.
