i know, right!! I'd heard from Mantz in late Feb. that it might take 6-8 weeks to finalize the recommendation. But nothing since then. He'd said something about an intended April 1st start date. But that has passed too. I just wrote to him again. NSF!!

from the past records, for those who got the transcript requests, it seems like we should get the final news in about three weeks... April is going to be one nervous month!

still waiting on Cultural Anthro. August 2013 results. Heard positively, but yet to get anything solid or final. Anyone else on the same boat?

Hi guys: I was wondering if anyone has applied to and/or heard from AAS-SSRC Dissertation Workshop Series 2014 on Dispossession, Capital, and the State?? The website says that applicants are supposed to hear back by late January whether they got accepted OR not. I haven't heard anything at all. All attempts to contact AAS-SSRC point persons listed on the website have also been in vain. Anyone else out there who's on the same boat? Or anyone know of anyone else who might have heard?
