  1. Yes, you should put your name on each page of your writing sample. I placed mine in the top right header; opposite of the program's name. Then centered in the footer was the page number (1 of 2). I formatted my C.V. and SOP this way.
  2. I watch empowering YouTube videos as such: Lost but Won: ...lifts me up when I feel like giving up, I'm a failure, and just being lazy. Here's another good one too! Why Do We Fall? I watched at least one video a week.
  3. Is it normal to apply to different schools in different cycles? Yes Is it weird to apply for Spring admission? (it is a posted option at all schools) No Will I be the oddball out for the class? No I have a great relationship with my EMT course instructor and I feel that he can vouch for my ability to succeed in the course, being prepared, studying, helping other students with topics, being involved in simulations, etc. I have study habits now that I wish I'd had in college. Would that be OK? Yes
  4. Hello. What is the "course"? Also, are you referring to USC Trojans (west) or USC Gamecocks (east)?
  5. A biology degree is applicable to the MPH program.
  6. Co-host of 'Let's Make A Deal' (with Wayne Brady....I would probably laugh myself out of character everyday!) Surgeon General (either U.S., Navy, or Army) Secretary of Health and Human Services
  7. Ensure I have more than two things to accomplish if I go out; gas is high. I let the rain wash my SUV. I do my own hair
  8. Every time I write a paper, I go to Purdue's Owl website for clarification and review. Here is the link: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ All of my professors support it.
  9. Directions: Math Section: Find your score underneath the "Old Score" category.....then look to your left to find its conversion to the new Math section; repeat for the Verbal section. ex: Old Math Score: 440 = New score: 141 Old Verbal Score: 560 = New score: 157 .
  10. Here's a link to Magoosh: http://magoosh.com/gre/2012/new-gre-score-conversion/
  11. Hi tankgirl. It depends on your school (whether or not the degrees are given under the same department or not), so ask your advisor. The programs may also have different admission requirements; like my school. I am currently in a MHA program. What is your future career goal? Why are you desiring to switch?
  12. @hinhrt, it depends on how you communicate your decision to withdraw. I revoked an acceptance from my current grad school (A) in 2012. I went to school B and applied again to school (A) in 2013. School B was not a good fit for me and I informed school (A) of this in my new SOP. Again, it is all about how you address the issue. Stay positive.
