  1. All of my letter writers are micro or immuno people so in addition to writing a note I was thinking of getting a http://www.giantmicrobes.com/for each of them.
  2. Has anyone who received an interview from UTSW been given any form or something to list their faculty for the interview weekend? I got my date assigned to me but have not heard any info about faculty.
  3. UTSW DBS Interview! I only have 1 free weekend of the ones they listed so I really hope everything works out.
  4. Mine is Jan 22/23. I selected microbio as my main area of interest. It seems to be based off of program since another post on the results page had the same date for microbio.
  5. Congrats! Hopefully you will be able to work out the scheduling with that many interviews.
  6. Thanks and congrats as well! The date they gave you would be perfect haha! I gave every option aside from the 3 weekends I have flights for, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
  7. NYU Sackler invite also! Amazing except I have another interview (with flight purchased) the date they assigned, so I hope that they can accommodate another weekend.
  8. Thank you for calling. Does anyone know if it is it common or a good idea for current undergraduates to send fall grades to graduate programs they have not heard back from?
  9. When is it acceptable to contact programs that have been sending out invites on our status? I have seen UTSW, UCSF-BMS, Harvard-BBS, UPenn-CAMB, and Emory-IMP on this thread and the results search but have not personally gotten any news.
  10. It was indeed by e-mail, WashU seems to be pretty on top of it regarding their admissions timeline so I am sure you will here a response soon enough. It is a great school so congrats to everyone who heard good news from them!
  11. Rejected from UW MCB. On one hand I am glad they told me instead of staying silent. On the other hand...arghh.
  12. I submitted the app in mid November and my LOR's were submitted right before 12/1.
  13. Baylor invite today also came! Two interviews this early is a pretty nice surprise and sure makes finals week feel easier. Sort of related but has anyone who applied previously know if people ever email programs they have not heard back from yet about expected interview dates in order to organize/prioritize everything? I tried looking at last years dates but the list is incomplete and I'm sure things change from year to year.
  14. Vanderbilt IGP interview e-mail came today!
  15. Thanks for the encouragement! I am planning on applying to the integrative molecular and biomedical sciences program (IMBS), I forgot that BCM had 4 "umbrella" programs.
