Has anyone heard from the History program at KU? Thought my chances were OK, but I'm starting to get a little nervous this late in February. Hitting that point where I'm just constantly refreshing the results page.
Hey all - just finished with my master's and I am now applying to PhD programs in History.
My question is whether I should get Letters of Rec exclusively from my thesis committee, or if I should branch outside of that. I have others that I could certainly ask, although they are all within the history department at my master's institution.
Thanks for your input!
Have most of you who've been accepted somewhere received emails from your POI? I've been accepted to one university, rejected from another, and am waiting on responses on 3 others, but I have yet to hear from any POI - my acceptance email was from the graduate adviser for the department. It's making me a little nervous as far as funding is concerned...
