No acceptances for me, sadly, but I've still got one school to hear from.

Everything else I've heard so far has been rejection, but I'm still waiting on two schools (University of Washington Comp Lit and Yale Film Studies).

I've had only bad news so far (Pitt, Brown, Berkeley). Ugh, this is a discouraging process...

I got my rejection letter from Pitt a few days ago too. Ugh. I'm still waiting to hear from a number of programs. Has anyone heard from Chicago, NYU, Berkeley, or Yale?

Any new on NYU's cinema studies department, by any chance?

I got a rejection from Brown just yesterday It wasn't a great fit for me, but it's still a bummer.

Also, does anyone know if the Pitt English acceptances listed are for film studies? People have posted acceptances, wait-lists, and rejections, but I haven't heard anything yet. I've been checking the website too… ugh.

Wow, so much good news from people, congratulations! It does make me a bit nervous that I haven't heard anything, but I'm trying to be zen about it since worrying won't help. It is tough waiting though...

Hey, I haven't posted on here before but I figured it was time to stop lurking, say hi, and ask if anyone else is doing the film and media studies route. There is a film studies thread, but it's pretty dead...
