Make sure you guys check your spam folder on your email. My coworker was just accepted and the email was in the spam folder.

I turned in the application 1/27/15, received the email form the department that they received my application exactly a week later 2/2/15. Received acceptance email 3/20/15.

Turned in my app January 27th and I was not on pending status.

Yeah I received the same letter Friday! No interview. Will be returning the form declining their offer.

That's awesome congratulations!! Most of the professors there are great, and of course you have some that are not that great but nonetheless very knowledgeable. Overall my experience was a good one I loved the environment and faculty. Everyone is very helpful and genuinely want students to succeed. I am sure you'll have a great experience there. You'll be graduating with several peers from my BASW cohort. Good luck!!

Thank you, I was super ecstatic when I received the email!! I know that last year they had two orientations one in May and another in July. Hope you all hear good news!! socialwork2015- I'm CSULB alumni, that's why. It's really just a matter of convenience and familiarity for me. They're both good schools. I recommend going to each one, visit their SW department and explore the campus, then make your decision.

Well that does make sense, just odd since we would have to pay the $250 and if the department doesn't accept us we would have to be reimbursed?

I agree with you dreamcatcher725, It does give the option to accept admission and pay the $250 on the CSUF portal. It also states the type of program you were accepted to. Although I am extremely happy to have been accepted to the two schools I applied to, I will not be accepting CSUF's offer, so that will open up a spot for someone. Good luck to you all!!

Was accepted to CSULB's MSW 2yr program on Friday March 20, 2015!! Orientation May 9th. From what I know they usually send out emails Wednesdays and Fridays. I completed my BASW @ CSULB so most likely will be accepting admission here. Great school, great program, and the diversity is awesome!!
