This morning I got an email acceptance from Dalhousie! My first acceptance and this is my second round applying. I'm so incredibly happy. Still waiting to hear from Alberta, Western, and Toronto but I am just thankful to have gotten in somewhere! Congrats to everyone else who has gotten acceptances this week!!!

U of A is apparently releasing their acceptances in small groups up until April 1st to avoid getting flooded with responses, so another wave should hear back this week! I feel like West Coasters would be more likely to apply to Alberta than East Coasters so that could free up some UBC spots. maybe?

A friend of mine was on the McGill waitlist last year - from what she was told, there were ~ 7 on the waitlist and she didn't get off of it. They didn't tell her her place because they re-evaluate. It was her first choice and she waited right until the end of August and they still had empty seats in the class from people backing out at the last minute. McGill almost always does this!

i believe they are! a few pages back someone contacted them and they were told that u of A is contacting a handful of people at a time and then waiting for their responses, so it'll be anytime over the next few weeks!

My professor (from the CSD department of a Canadian university) highly advised against the college programs. Said they don't better qualify you for acceptance and the admissions advisors don't look at them as an addition to an application. She said people are better off getting a master's degree in another field or doing research while gaining more clinical experience.

my status says complete documents. did you send a second copy of your transcripts, after last semester's grades were up? I had to send my second set after January 15th

I'm just reporting the information that I got She simply said it was now automated this year and that the secretary was not individually sending out acceptances.

I have a friend who's a current SLP student at McGill, she said she spoke with the secretary yesterday and their system is changed this year - it's automated and acceptances went out yesterday to everyone at the same time.

Ah kk thank you! Mine says complete, written notification to follow. It sounds like they're letting people know in waves so I'm hoping to hear back soon! I'm out of province, I wonder if they let in-province people know first? I'm wildly speculating all possibilities

Hey! I'm also waiting on Dal - out of curiosity, what does your decision say on the application status page? Do you know if they update there first or after letters are received?

Hi all! Was wondering, did anyone else applying to U of T get sent info about housing? I got mine a few days ago and was wondering if it was benign or a good sign, haha.
