  1. Hi all, I was wondering how much detail you gave about your research in the experience part of your CV? Now, I have written the date, place and advisor that I worked with with a one sentence description of my project like "worked on the similarities of cats and chairs". Do you think I should be adding more? I have a little more detailed explanations on what I did in my SoP also I have a methods section in my CV to show at which techniques I am a pro. I would be happy if you could help, my CV is exactly two pages now, I don't to want to change it so much. As far as I saw, in some CV samples there are no explanations about the projects and in some of them there are 2-3 bullet-points on somebody's responsibilities. What do you think?
  2. No, you have to select the colleges after you take the exam there, then the places you have selected will appear at your account.
  3. Hi all, I am going to apply for grad school in Biology from Turkey this fall. I was thinking of getting the GRE subject although I havent really studied for it then I realized there are no seats available in Germany(where I will be in October for internship) for the last test I can get. How much important to get this test do you think if I get a good score from the general GRE and have good references?
  4. Hi all, I am a molecular biology and genetics major from Turkey. I will be applying for grad school this fall with 3 years research experience and I have done internships in the US and Germany during summers. Although I experienced both research environments, I still dont know which country is better for me. I feel like it is harder to get into US universities and many people do their Masters first before getting accepted to programs. Whereas people from my university have been accepted to top institutes in Europe recently. My final aim is to get my own research lab years years later but right now do you think PhD in Eu or US differ so much in case of education, life quality and later job opportunities base? Thanks for your opinions.
  5. Thank you so much. I have checked my course materials and the subjects of the test as you said, then decided to take the test. I hope it turns out good for both of us.
  6. I am a third year undergraduate studying molecular biology and genetics. this semester I am taking Biochemistry II and Cell Biology II courses and the semester will be over in the middle of May. Do you suggest taking the next GRE in Biochem at the beginning of April or in September after summer? It is recommended in many programs I might apply next year, so it may support my applications if I get a good score. Now the problem is, until September I can forget what I learned and I will be interning in summer so I am not sure if I can study for the exam. But in April also, there is a problem, my courses will not be finished yet. What do you think would be better? I am waiting to hear some opinions. Thanks in advance.
