Got admits from UC San Diego and University of Southern California for the MS program in Electrical Engineering. I want to specialize in signal and image processing.
I still have a lot of reading to do on these two schools, but any insights would be appreciated.
I guess the deciding factors for me is:
1. Quality of education

Just from first impressions, it seems like the campus, classrooms, and labs are nicer at USC. 2. Job prospects after graduation Job placement rateOverall recruiter evaluations of graduates
From looking at US News and World rankings, recruiter scores are a little higher for UCSD (3.8 / 5) than USC (3.5 / 5).
3. Cost
USC is pretty freaking expensive compared to UCSD.
4. Location
I guess both Los Angeles and San Diego are nice places to be
