I don't know if any of you have had the same problem. I got waitlisted at a PhD program, and accepted into a Masters program. Of course, if I don't get into the PhD program off the waitlist, I've got to accept the Masters. But the PhD program says that they will know for sure after April 15th, and I have to accept or reject the Masters program by the 15th! And these are my only two choices (probably, still waiting on one more school). What should I do?? Would it be kosher to email the PhD program on like April 10th and ask them whether I'm at the top of the waitlist? Have any of you had the same problem, and how did you deal with it? Thanks!
