Haven't heard back from CalArts yet - spoke to someone in Admissions, and they said they've finished one round of reviews but that if I have yet to hear from them, it means I'm in the second round...and that they would send word as to interview/rejection as soon as the reviews were done. So, I hope that's accurate. Given how tiny USC is, CalArts is my last chance this year. I thought about Bard, too, but I'm still not sure if the low-res thing is appealing to me yet.

Heh, you and I had pretty much the same list. Yale, Columbia, Hunter, USC - then I also applied to CalArts and Tyler. Fingers crossed for USC or CalArts to pull through but I'm pretty sure I'll be applying next year - with a stronger portfolio and more things on my resume. Definitely something to look forward to!

I feel ya! I called them to confirm my rejection. Now I'm just waiting on CalArts to get back to me (they're still reviewing; spoke to them yesterday) and USC (fat chance!) so I get the feeling I'll be re-applying next year. Rejections from everyone else. Fuck it.

i imagine hunter still has people to contact, it's such a big program. so let's keep our fingers crossed.

anyone heard from Hunter Printmaking/Drawing/Works on Paper?

FYI to printmakers, my Columbia status changed today to "2014 Printmaking".

also has anyone heard from USC, Hunter, or Columbia? also have yet to hear word from CalArts though it seems people are getting interview invitations not on any particular schedule.

new here. mine still says "2014 Printmaking MFA". what exactly seemed to be indicated last year by a change in wording on your application? or was it a weird coincidence?
