Has anyone heard from UCLA NELC with any official rejections? I saw that there have been two subfield Egyptology acceptances quite early on on the results page but nothing from any of the other subfields. I still haven't heard anything! Hoping that the posted acceptances were the "rockstars" and the rest of us still waiting in the dark stand a chance!

I would just confirm what everyone else has been saying. No need to worry yet, and it does go in waves. So what if you aren't a first-round admit. I'd take second or third round as long as you get in somewhere, right? But yes, I am with you. Waiting is pure torture.

Do you mind me asking who you applied to? (It's okay to just PM me!) I'm assuming that no news from Chicago is likely not good news? Anyone received an official rejection from Chicago NELC yet?
