Did you apply MS or PhD? I haven't heard anything back on my PhD application, so I'm not getting my hopes up either lol.

Hey dreamtime, I'm interested in semiconductor device fabrication and characterization. One of the professors there was actually a student of one of my advisors here at the University of Arizona back in the 80s lol. He told me to get in touch with him, but I didn't want to come on too strong in the application process. I probably should have . Good luck with Stanford! There's a professor there who does a lot of atomic layer deposition work that I was really interested in. I'll let you know if I hear anything from either.

If you don't mind, when did you hear from Stanford? I'm still waiting on replies from Stanford and UCSB. Just got the Berkeley rejection earlier today and it's making me a little nervous.

I'm dying waiting for a reply from UCSB as well. Just got the Berkeley reject today. I guess we'll see. The UCSB department statistics page is a little uplifting at least (shows a 24% average acceptance rate from fall 2010 to fall 2012).
