I was also interviewed and accepted much later than US applicants since I could not attend the in-person interviews, so my acceptances came in very late.
If you're stressing about your visa situation because you don't have a school yet, don't worry too much, since they managed to interview me TWO DAYS before I left and the visa somehow crossed the country fast enough that I got it the day before I was due to leave.
