Does anyone have an opinion on Corona? It looks affordable (for SoCal), not terribly far, and safer than living in Riverside.

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard from Rutgers yet? It looks like their notifications tend to go out later than other schools, but the silence is killing me.

I'm hoping to get into a program with a better job placement. Of the PhD's to come out of my current program in the last 5 years or so, the only one with tenure is at a religious university that only hires those of that religion. Others have struggled getting year-long positions, and not all have found even those.

It doesn't specify, but it does say my application is incomplete. I went ahead and ordered a new one (what's another 40 dollars, right?) and made sure that the address specified the admissions office. I did all of this last time, but maybe magically it will work this time.

Hello everyone! I have not yet posted on this forum, but there is something weighing on me that I need to get out into the universe. I really, really, want Rutgers to accept me. I mean, I have a backup school that accepted me (no word on funding yet) but I just really want to go to Rutgers. I know it isn't a top tier school, but I don't care. I feel like I'm a teenager who asked someone to prom and is waiting for a reply.

So, I sent out my undergrad and MA transcripts weeks ago (from two UC campuses) to the same address, but only my undergraduate transcript is shown as received online (they have my unofficial transcript). I have the receipt that says it was sent. My POI contacted me after I sent in the application informing me that they received my application and offered to answer any questions I had, et cetera, but that is all I received. I do not think decisions have been made...should I just wait it out or call someone about my transcript?
