  1. Thanks HKsai! Yes Indiana is slightly more prestigious. Both programs are fully-funded, though at IU it is an TAship, while SU offers a fellowship without any work required. Perhaps I'd better go to Syracuse, which allows more time to build up my knowledge base (there must be lots of reading in English and I'm a slow reader). Anyway, thanks!
  2. Hi, I've been accepted into both programs with funding. I'm a Chinese, so not very familiar with both universities. Does anyone here know about the respective strength/emphasis/atmosphere/character of each program? Thank you very much for any imput.
  3. Got an acceptance email from the Religion Department of Indiana Bloomington. Masters. Quite disappointed that there is no funding offered--yet when I was applying its website still indicated funding available. So I'm just wondering if it's only denied to some, or that none of the admitted masters students gets funding. Thanks a lot. Just got into a bitter argument with my friend over whether it's because I'm not working hard enough (to impress the committees) so that I do not get any funding... (I'm applying to Masters)
  4. Hi guys, I received a notification of acceptance (through web) last Friday and not sure whether/how I shall write something back to the school. Who shall I write to? What shall I say apart from thank-you? How is it usually fomulated? Thanks a lot! It's Chicago Divinity Masters, one of my two top choices, but I cann't accept it now as it is almost unlikely that I can cover the tuition (50%) for it...
