I decided to got to Gatech for my graduate study. Though UIUC, UT Austin, Purdue , UWM, UC Davis and Stanford are pending. I could not stand that waiting process any more. Besides, Gatech is a great option for me.

Wow. Congratulation! I hope UIUC could reject me now because my professor recommended me to a professor there that she is familar with. But I decided to go to Gatech now.

Haha. I feel the opposite, Weekends is the time that I could go to bed late and get up in the morning not worring about checking my mailbox in 6.am in the morning because the time zone! I always get their decision letters in about half past 2 am in the morning ,and everyday when I woke up in the morning, the first thing I do is checking my mailbox using my phone. ......haha, I hope this could end soon...

No funding. M.S of Structural Engineering, I have friends in GT's structural engineering, He told me that even the student in the campus could not find professors with enough funding to support their continuing pursuit of Ph.D. Indeed many of them have to job hunting, not because of a lack of interest, but lack of funding indeed.... I am a little bit worried what would I face in the future because I want to get a Ph.D >...<..

they would make a list with the names of all the applicants on it , rank them in accordance of their rank and GPA. maybe their RLs taken into account too. then fill the vancancy, leave few in the WL. reject most without even give a look of their materials ...... Oh. I am prepared for the worst scenario.... Take it easy.....I am just kidding.. Hope they are carefully comparing our materials before make the decisions which may exert huge influence of our life path...

Indeed they are. Admissions decisions released last week and their rejection released a week later...... Got rej. letter from UCB this morning. Move on with my seem-no-ending waiting process.....

Well,me too.I got the rejection letter from UC Berkeley This morning. Sad thing, wait for other schools. I intend to accept the ad from CMU....I thought maybe I could focus on some interdisciplinary researches related to computer science. Which maybe a better choice for my future career.. .

anyone have idea when the results of Purdue and Gatech would be released? BTW, Berkeley announced their Ms/Ph.d decisions for structural engineering early this week.

Quite sure. I know somebody got his acceptance letter by mail. which is sent on 18th. Feb. I am writing a request letter to the office.

I hope I could be in that same kind of inner peace. But the thing is, the last semester in my college and I got really plenty of staffs to do everyday. Really Stressful...

If only they give a specific date for their decision. We don't even know when they begin to review our profiles ....a sad thing when you are waiting something with great expectation. A torturing feeling especially when I open my mailbox everyday in the morning. It is 6.am in the morning in my country when it the 6 am in America. The mixture of feelings. oh.......

Congratulation! I heard that Stanford mailed their admission decisions through mail!!!! And they sent them out on 18. Feb. Can not believe that. But I still got nothing or heard anything from Stanford....
