I am an international student. I have always excelled in math and physics but somehow life has thrown me many obstacles in pursuing a career in these fields.
I got a scholarship to attend a university back in 2006, but the university only offered a BSc in electronics engineering tech! I accepted even though i wanted to do engineering. I went through it effortlessly with a 3.99 gpa. However, i had to return home. I got stuck in a teaching (high school) career, and I find myself feeling stuck and unhappy.
I want to apply to get a scholarship to pursue my master's but most schools ask for career experience or "steps taken to pursue goals" and as a result i have been unsuccessful in gaining any scholarships.
I am educationally starving! I really want to do a master's in engineering. So far I have enjoyed digital logics and PLCs. In fact i am doing a computer programming course part time which i am really enjoying. Can anyone help me decide what I should do? What field can I possibly pursue, since i only have an engineering tech degree, i know I wont be top candidate for a Masters in engineering.
