Anyone heard of any admissions for UofT advanced standing? Any friends of friends heard anything? My work contract is ending and I don't want to make a commitment to a job I won't be around for...

I just got a call from Angela (U of T) today informing me I've been accepted off the wait list! Good luck to all those still waiting!

It was the 2 year program I asked about, but from the sounds of it the advanced standing is a similar timeline.

I heard from UofCalgary today (I was on the wait-list).  Does anyone have any experience in that program? I'd love to chat about it, it's a tough for decision for me since it's a big move and I'm unsure about the program.

 

Still waiting out UofT (also wait-list, this has been a really fun waiting game ) .  My birthday is coming up, so I'm hoping I'll magically hear about it on that day, haha.  Has anyone heard anything from them?

Are you on the waitlist for the two year program or advanced standing? If advanced standing, what stream? I'm trying to see how many people are we are competing against.

Hey, I heard from Ryerson a few weeks ago that I was accepted off the wait list. You never know though because people can still get accepted elsewhere and change their minds. For example, u of t is sending out acceptances off the wait list at the end of May, if there are any. It's a popular school, so you never know... People might end up turning down Ryerson or York if their first choice is u of t.

Call Ryerson if you can, the admin assistant for the msw program is really helpful. Good luck.

Hey everyone,

I just confirmed my acceptance to Ryerson! Got the letter last week. Still hoping to hear from U of T (advanced standing) at the end of the month so I have some options, but I'm still really happy about Ryerson. Does anyone know much about their program? I only know what I could find online which isn't much. I'm really interested in what kind of placements they usually get for their students. If anyone has info, let me know! Thanks

I'm on the waitlist at UofT and I'm going stir crazy. Why do you suspect you will hear at the end of the month?

The deadline to secure the spot during the first round of admissions was two weeks ago.

Fyi for anyone on the wait list for u of t advanced standing: Angela said the earliest acceptance off the wait list will be at the end of May. Probably because they want our marks , etc.

I did a previous undergrad at U of T... I'm logging into ROSI to access my U of T student account.

I have never been a UofT student and I was able to log in. Just used my student ID number and make up a pin.

I just looked back through my information and I figured out where your info got scrambled.  The 300 applicants to the advanced standing program is accurate but the 150 is the number accepted into the 2 year MSW not the advanced standing.  The advanced standing is 90.  Hope that helps!

What stream did the Laurier acceptance letters come to? CPPO or IFG? Maybe they separated the two while doing admissions? I honestly thought I was a shoe in.
