Finally got a response from Dal and did not get in.....the admissions office says that they do not even run a wait list for whatever reason....which I find odd since I am sure that so many people that get into Dal will get into other schools and reject the Dal offer....anyway, depressing....UVIC is my last hope....has anyone heard of the acceptance rate for distance at UVIC?

I'm glad to hear some people are hearing something, wish I had too! I haven't heard anything, and was worried about whether they received my information, but see that they did charge my credit card, so they must have gotten it. I haven't gotten response to either email and nothing via mail! I obviously wasn't accepted in the first round if you guys are hearing something already, hopefully I am on a wait list! Thanks for the info! I also applied to the distance MSW at UVIC and haven't heard a peep, however, the website said not to expect any response until late March / early April, so I haven't been too anxious about that yet......

Any news from dal? I know you had said that they asked for your address confirmation, did you get any follow up? I've emailed twice now with no response....its totally nerve wracking! Anyone else out there get any news from the distance MSW from Dalhousie?

Ohhh that would be the WORST! I'm really hopeful that I could have at least gotten on the wait list for Dalhousie.....and maybe people, like yourself, will get accepted to both and drop Dal.....you are right, its a lot of time, energy...and money...to apply to all of these programs only to get turned away....it would also be nice if they all returned the letters at the same time so the trickle in effect didn't happen!

ughhhh mannnn......I am sad I haven't heard anything from Dalhousie! it is my first choice.....I also applied to UVIC distance, and haven't heard, and my status still says "interim review".....I'll be so depressed if I don't get into either!!!! Thanks for the update tho, it is nice to know where everyone else is at with their applications!!!! Good luck to everyone and hopefully we will all know soon!!!

I'm hoping that the letters received were for home program and not the distance? I dunno....trying to stay positive!

I have applied to the MSW distance at dalhousie and haven't heard yet!! its driving me crazy because the website said we would hear "mid february".....I'll let you know if I hear anything! It's killin me!
