Any idea on does everyone who applies to the M. Eng. Program gets an interview call? Or are there direct admits also? And what can one expect from such a call? Does this mean that your application is at good place or it is at same level as that of others?

Hi! I received a mail from UC Berkeley that I have been shortlisted for the interview for M.Eng. program. Has anybody else also got such a mail? Also, what are such kind of interviews like? Actually I didnt know about this interview process and thus it is a really short notice for me.. What kind of interview can I expect it to be? Any suggestions please...
