Thanks teachmcguy! I also applied to UCD. The entire process took about 7 weeks for me between application submission and formal admit. I applied to UCD at the beginning of January, received an invitation to interview January 9th, received an informal admit from POI February 10th, and received the formal Grad Studies admit on February 21st. Do you think cost or convenience is better? My family lives 25 miles away from Davis, so I have the option of moving back home and commuting over the causeway. My program isn't funded (MA/teaching credential), so I would save a lot of money this way. But I'm concerned about the commute traffic driving me nuts and my family being distracting. Living in Davis would be much more ideal but I would have to take out extra loans to do so. Any current commuters or unfunded students with insight?

Has anyone heard back for any of their combined credential/MA programs for summer/fall 2014? Anyone from MUSE in particular?
