To those getting word from UW: did you apply to the PhD with an MA already in hand or are you being admitted to the MA/PhD? I'm getting restless since my application status hasn't changed (so I'm considering an implied rejection…) I only have two more schools to hear from and I have two acceptances (one with full funding) and one wait list. I really just want to know where I'm going to live in 4 months.

So those who are still waiting on a word from Boston College: I emailed the DGS and was told that I haven't heard back because I was rejected from the PhD program but being considered for the MA. I will not be taking the MA offer as I've already received a couple of acceptances/waitlist offers at programs higher on my list, but I thought I should post this just in case others are sitting on their hands waiting to here from BC.

Hi. I'm a long time lurker first time poster. I noticed that people have already received rejections from Yale, Columbia, and Boston College- I haven't heard back from any of those programs and checking on my application status doesn't show any decision... Is this happening to anyone else? Should I contact these programs or sit on my hands?
