Looks like no one here is trying for Canada. (except Malgor - Waterloo) Anyways i have applied for MSc and believe it or not...all in Canada!!! Toronto Waterloo UBC McGill Alberta Queens McMaster Calgary Victoria Ottawa In most of these my application status is complete. I don't know how I can be sure of any kind of decision as of yet. Moreover, I keep hearing that without e-mailing a professor it is virtually impossible to get admission in Canada(don't know how true that is, can anyone share their experiences?).

Need some suggestions quickly guys....isn't anyone applying or remotely interested about canada?

Hi guys, I have completed my undergrad study in 2009 and want to pursue MS in Canada from fall 2010. My profile is: Bsc. (Computer Science and Engineering) from top ranked uni in the country. GPA: 3.72/4.00 Recommendation:Hoping to get some good ones Citizenship Status: Canadian Permanent Resident My Target Unis are(All Canadian): 1.University of Toronto 2.University of Waterloo 3.University of British Columbia 4.University of Alberta 5.Queen's University 6.McMaster University 7.University of Victoria 8.University of Calgary 9.University of Western Ontario 10.University of Ottawa 11.Carleton University Areas of Interest 1.Computer Networks 2.Software Engineering 3.Human-Computer Interaction Now can anyone shed some light on my chance of getting admitted into any of these universities? I have heard that admission in Canada significantly differs from US (Less importance on GRE, contacting professors beforehand etc...). Can anyone give me any clue regarding this? Thanks in advance.
