It's so nice to know I'm not the only one feeling nervous, somewhat excited, and a whole lot scared. Why is it we feel we are the only ones going through something? Regardless, I am excited for grad school, but anxious about finding a place and being on my own again. I will only know one person (my potential advisor who I had as a teacher a year ago) and deciding if I should bring my pet. I know that seems trivial, but I don't want to take him away from the home he's always known. Gah! I go back and forth on this. Good luck everyone!

I was just informed that I was accepted off the wait list at K-State! So glad this process is over and can't believe I got in my first time around. Good Luck to everyone still waiting or deciding!

Emailed the DGS at Notre Dame and found out I was rejected. Only one option left so if you or someone you know was accepted to Kansas State and isn't going, please decline as I'm on the waitlist.

Kansas state should have sent notifications out already. If you haven't heard, either you are wait listed or rejected. I was wait listed, but since I know a professor, she called me. Hope that helps anyways.

Do you know if they're sending out emails for anything else.

Haha it's okay...how did you hear though? Last year I mean...email, call, website? I'm just wondering when/how to expect the news. Also, I think funding is a big part of the decision. Personally, I would take funding over a big name, but I'm more interested in teaching and getting that experience. My two cents, but I don't know if it's worth anything.

When/how did you hear from Notre Dame? I applied for photo but have heard nothing!

I guess I should have reworded that...did you call or email them to let them know you had accepted another offer?

Thank you for the encouragement! I realize now that I applied to some super-competitive schools and I've seen posts from others where this is their 2nd or third time applying. I have already reached out to one professor from my wait listed school and will do so with the others. I think I'm just eager and "I want it now" as Veruca says in Willy Wonka. Haha

I completely agree...I'd rather know than sit here checking my email seven hundred times a day! At least if I know, I can start making other plans. On that note, have you heard from ND? I tried emailing to see when notifications would be sent out, but it kicked it back to me...I took it as a sign to not email :/

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum as this is my first year applying. So far I've heard from 2 schools, but not the other 2. Kansas State-wait listed University of Arizona-rejected via website Stanford-- University of Notre Dame-- Does Notre Dame do interviews? Also, if you or someone you know got into KState and don't want it, can you please inform the school? I'm first on the wait list

I also applied to Stanford's Art Practice program, but I haven't heard anything. I know they conduct interviews, but I don't think I'll be getting one.
