Hi Everyone! Long time lurker, so I thought I would say hi... "hi" I am also a first year PhD student; so, if anyone has any questions, I am happy to try to answer them. Or, if there are any other transfer applicants, I would love to talk about our situations.

As one of the top alternatives for UVA (and as difficult it is for me to say this), I just received an email from Paul Humphreys that they will not be accepting anyone else off their waitlist. They have their class of 5 for this admissions cycle.
