  1. I went to asu first open house and I will tell you they seem to be very unorganized !!! I ha emailed and called 3 or 4 times with no reply! Good luck!
  2. I have an offer to work 10 hrs a week as a GA. Let me know too if this is too much to add to a masters program??
  3. I liked how they get you experience in every area and expose you to many disorders. Also, ASHA requires 350 clinical clock hrs Purdue goes above and beyond and gets you over 500. So you graduate ready and more equipped than any other school. Also, it's the closest to Indy for clinical hrs and externship sites. High ranked school. Professors CARE. And also they are building a brand new state of art building for us that is top notch. They will have a language preschool there, adult stroke group, and many other awesome on campus clinics. Truly top notch school.
  4. I have accepted Purdue because of their high ranking and I am hoping coming from Purdue will help me land a job a little easier.i have talked to slps and they don't care if someone had a GA position or not. They look at the school and referrals. Hope this helps!!
  5. I am doing local school instead of dream school. I don't think it will be worth being in debt for $50000 when I can be in debt for just $20000.
  6. A lot of my friends are staying with their in state college because of cost!! Good luck with everyone's decision!
  7. My friend got her letter for funding last week. I think they mailed to only people that were awarded funding.
  8. I have an offer with assistantship that states it is a binding contract and can not get out after April 15... I wonder if that is just because it has an assistantship with it?
  9. I got accepted and they said they would send more info on the open house and I haven't heard any details. Just wondering if anyone else had heard..
  10. It looks like U of M has study abroad option in Mexico and it takes 4 semesters to graduate where as IU does not have study abroad and it takes 5 semesters to graduate.
  11. There is a topic in this forum that states which colleges are still accepting applications for fall 2014 but for MOST colleges you have to have the application in by Jan or Feb for the following fall.
  12. Has anyone heard from ASU yet? Suspense is killing me!
