is there any penalty for accepting 1 school. and then declining it later?

my U of A was a straight rejection, no explanation. so u heading to Cali or TO?

Wow excellent credentials. I am not sure what the international candidate admission pool is. But its likely more competitive overall than domestic applicants. Btw I had 3.8 gpa on the Ontario scale, with research/work in the hospital for 3 yrs.

Still have a good chance. People may have committed to USask initially and may be on a waiting list at another preferred univ. May I ask what are your current credentials, BSc, MBBS etc?

around march 15, online status was changed completed for review. then on april 8 changed to dept recommend. april 10 i got the official confirmation.

usask is not ceph accredited. based on the info from their website i believe practicum is paid. when did u get the acceptance invitation? i and many others on this forum havent heard anything from usask

still got a great shot! i'm still waiting to hear back also. most univ seem to have send out a "first wave" of invites. and most will send out a "second wave" of invites pretty soon hopefully.

is it safe to assume that if u haven't heard by now, prob not getting in? just getting impatient with this process. need to make ''back up'' plans asap!
