I'm heading to the UK (from Toronto) to do my MA in Int'l Studies & Diplomacy at SOAS in September, and I've been looking online for answers as to whether or not to bring my 4th year undergrad textbooks (only the ones relevant to my field of study for post-grad, so about 7 or 8 thick books) all the way to London. I'm already worried about luggage space and the hassle, but I've read online and heard from friends that some of their textbooks from their last year of undergrad came in handy during their MAs. I didn't take extremely detailed notes from the textbooks themselves, so a digital copy of the most important information isn't really doable unless I spend the next few weeks going through them again, so I'm wondering if anyone has any insight about this (particularly related to the social sciences?) Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
