  2. Which graduate fields generally require interviews? I am applying to Electrical Engineering programs and don't want to be caught off guard by a campus requesting an interview with me. None of the programs that I applied to mentioned interviews on their graduate admissions website.
  3. Applied: 7 Accepted: 4 Rejected: 3
  4. I graduated from high school a year early (homeschooled) and did my undergraduate engineering degree in 3 years, should I work this into my personal statement at all? I think that I could because it demonstrates dedication to goals and hard work, both of which are needed for grad school. It seems like it might be inviting age discrimination though, especially the high school portion.
  5. I am applying for an EE PhD in the Fall '10 cycle. I got: 780Q (89%), 660V (94%) with a 4.0W (41%). Will my low writing score hurt my chances for being admitted to an engineering program? I am applying to: Stanford MIT Berkeley UI-Urbana Carnagie Mellon UW-Madison .
