  1. That's great! Congrats!! I am interested in both actually.
  2. Hi! I am currently researching religion and psychology graduate programs. Would you please list any that you know of? I must note that I am more interested in eastern religions and psychology rather than only Christianity and psychology. Thank you very much for your assistance!
  3. Hi! I am currently researching religion and psychology graduate programs. Would you please list any that you know of? I must note that I am looking for psychology and religion programs that allow for a wide and diverse religious perspective. Rather than programs that have only one religious focus, (e.g. Christianity and psychology). I would really prefer a wide variety of eastern religion options. Thank you very much for your assistance!
  4. I have been rejected from two and haven't heard back from the other four. Although one school hasn't reviewed my application at all yet, I'm still in the pile. I emailed a director from another program and he stated they are currently reviewing applications. The other two I highly doubt I'll be accepted to. I applied only for masters programs, btw. I think it is rare to have any acceptances this late for any Ph.D. programs.
  5. Actually, I researched some hotlines they are just 2 - 3 hours away from where I live... I'm volunteering at the VA now mostly just events.
  6. W&M is amazing. The fact you got in is astonishing in it's own right. If you graduate there you can get into any school in the region easy.
  7. Can anyone offer pointers on how I can go about obtaining clinical experience with only an undergrad? I do have a little of a year's worth of research lab experience. I've heard it's super difficult with only an undergrad?
  8. Thanks for the information, all. I did improve my package, improved my GRE's by 14 points (although still not great percentiles...), performed four volunteer opp's. My lead advisor passed away so I was unable to use his letter, I almost feel like my application is suffering more without his letter. I honestly don't know who else to request a letter from since my second choice actually passed away in January from a random accident.
  9. I was rejected each place last year, (my first time applying after undergrad). I went to an interview at Adler for their Psy.D. program in which I received a rejection by website a week after. One of my advisors stated it is not unusual to be rejected your first application period after graduation. She admitted she had to re-apply--she is now the undergraduate director for the program at my university. Looking back at my application packages for Fall 2014, I feel I may not be as competitive yet again. I have had one rejection letter from CUA and have not heard back from the others. My question is... Is it normal for people to be rejected for years after undergrad before receiving an acceptance? Maybe their third year attempt? Has anyone had this happen to them?
