I applied to UNC-Charlotte, Cooperstown Graduate Program, Brown's Public Humanities, WUSTL, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, and University of New Orleans. I was accepted to UNCC, CGP, and IUPUI, rejected from Brown and WUSTL, and still haven't heard back from UNO. Cooperstown was my dream school; I had been in contact with the Director since early last year and knew a number of graduates who encouraged me to apply. I did the whole interview weekend things just a couple weeks ago. The only thing is funding. Tuition costs have gone up 25% in one year, leaving students to take out the max in loans for one school year. Although they have a great alumni network, I don't know if it's worth crippling debt. One doesn't work in museums to get rich, you know.
