  1. Rejected from Rockefeller. Oh well, better now than getting a random email in March On an off note, got an interview from Boston University.
  2. In my interview email from Weill Cornell, they had this line "If you are unable to attend during these days but remain interested in our graduate program, please let us know so that we may determine if alternative arrangement for interviews can be made." In fact, when you click on the interview link and try registering for the interview, they ask you if you are interested in attending the interview AND if you are able to attend Jan 20-22. I would say select Yes for the interview, but No for the Jan 20-22, but contact them first. The deadline to accept the interview is Jan 4th though, so I would call them up tomorrow before they close for Christmas.
  3. Ah! Thanks for letting me know. I applied to the Cancer Biology and Molecular Therapeutics track, and since the deadline is January 15th, I guess I am just being a bit paranoid. Thanks for the compliment! After only getting 1 interview invite during the last application session (Fall 2015), and being waitlisted and ultimately not making it, I am glad I am getting interviews at a lot of places this year. Let's hope I end up getting accepted in at least one of these programs though (Fingers crossed).
  4. If you don't mind me asking, when did you submit your application? I submitted mine on November 3rd (my last recommendation went out on November 30th though), and I haven't heard back from them yet.
  5. February 19th - 21st.
  6. Columbia has sent out invites for the Integrated in CMBS/C2B2 and Pathology & Cell Biology Graduate Programs today morning.
  7. Yes, I am an international student as well, and I got an interview from them. I applied for Cancer Biology.
  8. I talked to them today, and they said that 1/3rd of the interviewed applicants are accepted.
  9. I see you have joined the forum of hell too dost I think Master's has a different forum though, this is primarily for PhD in Biological Sciences
  10. Is Yale BBS done sending out all of their interviews already?
  11. What program did you apply for? I went for Molecular Oncology and tumour immunology, and didn't get any correspondence from them yet. Then again, neither did I hear from Weill Cornell BCMB
  12. When did you get the invite? I dunno if I should keep expecting an email to come, or stop checking my email every 5 minutes.
  13. Did you get invites from Weill Cornell or NYU yet? Coz I didn't
  14. I am an international who applied there. Chances are very slim I'll even get an interview, but I have my fingers crossed And I didn't get a rejection letter yet, but I hear that Harvard BBS is done sending all their invites, so I assume I was rejected.
  15. Does anybody know if all the invitations for Princeton molecular biology program have been sent out already?
  16. Does anyone know what percentage of interviewees from Mt. Sinai actually end up getting accepted from the first batch of interviews? Or do they just have 1 batch?
  17. Did you just get an email?
  18. This is depressing :'( Everyone has multiple invites and I am sitting here stuck on one
  19. Hey guys, when I clicked on "View Checklist" for my Penn CAMB application today, it said that my English requirements were waived, my GRE scores have been received, etc- but on application status, it says "Materials needed". I have no idea why this is so, it says they have received everything. The only thing that caught my eye is that it says in transcripts that they have received my unofficial transcript, and they require official transcripts for review. I checked up on both of my schools, and they both said they have already sent official copies of the transcripts a month ago. Is anyone else facing the same problem, or is it just me? Can someone who received a Penn CAMB invite tell me if there actually is something wrong with my application, or if I am just being paranoid?
  20. I am still waiting for Emory Cancer Biology invite Do they send invites during weekend, or can I actually stop refreshing my email every 5 minutes?
  21. Columbia GSAS offers $35000 from what I remember
  22. Just checked, its $33,500 (http://gradschool.mssm.edu/eforms/2014-financial-support/#1.-stipend-and-tuition-–)
  23. Does anyone know how much Mount Sinai offers in stipends?
