  1. Thanks Greyhound111. WPU's student outcomes says they graduate around 23/year with a 99-100% graduation rate, so I assume the class isn't much bigger.
  2. @Greyhound111 : I just got my acceptance to Kean Friday afternoon via email- haven't even had a chance to respond. They said they will send me an official letter out and I assume it will let me know when I need to accept by. Out of respect to those wait listed or in a second round of acceptances, I will be replying to my acceptances ASAP- this week in fact.
  3. Kean vs WPU? Anyone have any thoughts?
  4. Student outcome stats favor WPU on graduation rate and praxis pass rate. But stats and grades aren't everything. There is teaching quality, time to complete program, tuition, commuting, etc. Coming from the West, WPU leads with commuting time and tuition slightly less, though almost the same. If WPU requires more prereqs, as I have heard they will, it means more money and time= big minus. Kean on the other hand, I hear has newer facilities and very knowledgable professors- I have heard the teaching quality is excellent from some undergrad students. But WPU is a smaller program. I don't know- really wish I had some current reliable information. I have toured WPU and I really loved it there- very cozy feel. Nothing fancy, which I kind of liked! I need to tour Kean next. I am sure either are great. I just want the one which will give me the best training.
  5. Emailed a friend (SLP with C's) who went to WPU 10 years ago, and this is what she said: "When i was doing grand rounds in a Hospital, one of the supervisor has mentioned that by looking at the grades, he could tell which students were from where: Top 3rd from William P., middle 3rd from Montclair, the bottom 3rd from Kean. I'm quoting him directly."
  6. WPU or Kean? Got accepted to both- both look excellent. Any thoughts on pre-reqs, cost, commute, quality education? Thanks!
  7. WPU or Kean? Got accepted to both- both look excellent. Any thoughts on pre-reqs, cost, commute, quality education? Thanks!
  8. Looking at Kean vs. William Patterson. Out of field undergrad, older student. WPU seems to be excellent training but I heard they like you to retake pre-reqs- which I don't mind except the cost. Kean is near a relative of mine so on days where I can't make commute I have a place to rest. Also Kean is near some good eating places. Commuting from Warren county. Hard decision- HELP!!!!
