  1. Once you get your PhD I'd imagine that you can also be a clinician on the side. Maybe not full time, depending on how much time you're devoting to research and teaching, bu it's possible. At my university most professors still work in the clinic some hours a week.

  3. Hi all I'm leaning more towards the medical side of things but all of the programs I know of (Pitt, MGH, Vandy, UW...) are extremely expensive without even including living expenses. Does anyone know of possibly cheaper or less-known/ less competitive grad programs that have good medical affiliations? I just don't know of other schools close to good hospitals/ rehab facilities and am not sure I can afford the more well-known medically-inclined programs. Thanks!
