Hello all, Attending Stony Brook for a PhD in Music Composition this fall. My wife and I are moving from Omaha, NE. What brokerage sites are people using? I am currently using http://www.padmapper.com for CL and http://www.mlsli.com/ My main concern right now is finding a job! How is everyone else (non TA) handling this?

I just got a letter from Stony Brook with an offer of half tuition paid. Alright! Going there. Anyone still waiting? Care to share your final choices for the record?

Received my Columbia rejection like clockwork. If we were all in the same city I would take you all out for a drink right about now.

It's awfully quiet in this thread and waiting to hear back from schools. Any updates from Columbia, Temple, or Stony Brook? I e-mailed my POI at Stony Brook and have not heard back. I called Temple and spoke to the admissions guy who said Dr. Wright was still wrapping up composition admits and the decisions would be most likely be snail mailed...soon. The only info I have on Columbia is that results post saying that the decision has been made, but no real contact from Columbia.

I do not see any other Duke Music results when I search. Where do you see this? Congrats on Duke by the way! Did you happen to hear from Harvard?

Jason, Please tell us that it was you who was accepted to Eastman?!

I just sent an e-mail to my POI inquiring about it today. I'll let you know what I hear. It seems two years ago they did letters and last year they did e-mails if you go by the results page history.
