there are 2 so far--and both of them are internationals.. why can't they, at least! give us rejection emails at the same time.. i hate this process.

yes. it seems that if you haven't heard yesterday, you are not on the waiting list..

so what's going on with stanford? can someone tell me? ...

i just talked to Anne.. and she said, there are 20 people on the list. and she will tell you how far you are on that list. i am in the middle, so it seems unlikely that i will get in. hope this helps..

Hi, are you an internationa? were you given funding from UCI? UCI was one of my top-choices..but i ended up not applying any of the UCs because of the economic crisis.. just curious.. CONGRATULATIONS!

so when i called last friday, the guy said, if you are not offered an interview "by now," it is "most likely" that you are rejected. I called again after reading your post, and this person said they require interviews for certain people who need additional infos from? I am confused. Does this mean that I still have hope for Y? The guy from friday sounded really sure though. Is Yale changing their words just to calm us down? I wonder..

ATTENTION EVERYONE: i just called Yale and they said, if you haven't received an interview offer yet, that means you're rejected. I am SO sad.

My friend has been offered an interview from Stanford. Also, I saw a posting on the result page about Yale interview. I did not hear from these two schools about the interview. Does this mean i am rejected?
