I've considered many aspects, and still like Duke better. Although it's very hard feeling to turn down JHU, since I know the interviewer professor and he's been so kind, I'll do it. I don't like JHU's research so much, since I'm not interested in Neuro or Genetics, but cancer cell signaling and drug development.
Hi guys~
I've got admitted to some biomedical graduate schools, but I don't know how to choose. I need your help and advice.
Duke CMB vs. JHU BCMB vs. Weill Cornell BCMB vs. UTSW DBS
thx and bless everyone~
I'm envying you American guys For us international candidates they mostly conduct phone interviews and I think they would interview many candidates before making decisions. Wish I could be invited to an on-campus interview sometime from certain schools, although I can't make the trip.
I have experienced the interview from Yale by the BBS program in China. I dressed as usual, hehe. I don't think they care much about your dress and hair, as long as you seem neat and clean. I remembered the professors did not wear formally either. So just relax. The main part is about my research experience. I talked about it. Besides this was just casual talk. Good luck!
