I am not a teacher, just another yahoo on a message board. I do think it is fair to give him the grade that he earned. You surely would not keep your job if all you did was show up, right? You are expected to do a certain amount of work. You obviously made your student expectations clear as he was (presumably) the only student to complete zero quizzes.
Give him the grade he earned, and if he has an issue with it, the onus is on him to explain why he deserves to be treated as a special case.- Cookie, rising_star, ruru107 and 2 others

I am applying late for a spot in the U of O MPA program (they have a few open - taking the GRE next week). Would you be willing to share your GPA/GRE? I'm going a bit nuts trying to figure out my chances of getting in. I also had a lackluster undergrad. I need some hope! I really want to get in to this particular program.

PP1: V160, Q153
PP2: V162, Q154
GRE: V159, Q154
PP1 score was taken really early on in studying. PP2 was taken after 3 weeks of studying about 10 hours a week. Pretty bummed about my verbal score - never expected it to be less than the first practice. Oh well. Sufficient scores for the non-top 10 programs I'm applying to.
