I have this project in one of my classes where you must select a major and the job you will derive from that major. You must attend a university in the project WHERE you will get that major. I have a passion for nutrition/dietetics so I picked Cal poly university. I selected to major in Nutrition Science B.S.....my career is R.D. (Registered Dietitian). Here is where I'm confused. He wants us to continue our major so for me that would be Dietetics to either get my master's degree or PhD. I am choosing MS
There is a few steps to attaining a degree in dietetics. Not only do you have to study and take classes, but at this university you need to take the Dietetics program and then do a internship (all R.D.'s must do this) and then pass the R.D. exam.
So...in my project would I state I would get my undergrad B.S. in Nutrition then continue my studies as a graduate THEN take the internship exam or get my undergrad then do the internship and exam? That is where I am confused about Dietetics.
