I've been accepted to a Grande ecole for an M1(first year of master's) program. I missed the scholarship deadline for this year and while I intend to apply for scholarships to finance the M2 cycle, I want out now and I'm wiling to take out loans, etc, for the first year instead of some sort of deferral. Has anyone done this before? Are there non-predatory loan agencies or banks that will finance foreign studies? I know it's kinda late, but I'm still searching for scholarships so if anyone knows where I can target my search, any help would be greatly appreciated. I can read sites in English or French.
