Hi Lia, I study economics in Germany, so I might be able to help you out a bit. From you post I assume you are thinking about Msc programs? In economics? If so you defintely missed the programs of Mannheim and Bonn. They have two of the best economic departments in Germany, research wise (which might not always equal the best msc program). You should also add Cologne to your list list I'd say. From things I've heard and reputationwise - obviously without knowing all the programs - I'd say the three above + Frankfurt a.M. and maybe (?) Berlin are the best programs. But then it depends on whether you want to do pure economics, or a mix of business and economics. Bonn offers no business at all (and is rather theoretical besides). Berlin I am not sure. Mannhein, Cologne, and Frankfurt (best for finance I guess) all offer business programs as well, I don't know about the possiblity to study a mixture though.
