I forgot to add I went to a top .01% school, have been published in Nature, and scored in the 100% GRE and LSAT.

I applied to the HDE PhD program and have not heard anything. I was rejected from Stanford, NYU, Harvard...accepted to Columbia but not going because of $$. I refuse to go into crazy debt for a piece of paper. Although it seems like a golden ticket sometimes.
