I applied to American Studies at Minnesota and Film and Media Studies at UC Santa Barbara, in addition to Washington and UCLA. I haven't heard from any other programs yet besides Washington though

Oh okay. Thanks for the info. I never interviewed with them so I'm assuming it'll be a rejection. I called their office to check and they said the last round of emails is going out this week.

Oh I meant Washington. I'm nervous about UCLA, they're now my top choice since being rejected from UW.

Anyone know what's going on with Minnesota's program? I saw on the results search that several people received their decisions already but I still haven't heard anything. Still says "awaiting decision" on my application. So nervous!!

Got a rejection email on Friday from UW's department. They cited a lack of research fit as the reason (which surprised me because I was positive that program would be a perfect fit for my interests). Oh, well. At least it was a nice email. And with the odds being only 2 acceptances out of 75 applicants... yeah... can't be too upset. The only other Gender Studies program I applied to was UCLA. Anyone heard from them yet?
