I am thinking about an MS in EE at University of Alabama, Huntsville. Can anyone give any info on the school, social life, transportation, housing etc?

I have already sent out applications that require LOR. However, I was curious about if there were grad schools that didn't require LOR. The lack of extra hassle of tracking whether recommenders submit by the deadline etc would be greatly welcome. I guess this can also include grad schools that don't require LOR for normal admission, but probably would for the funding aspect. rmp2000
