  1. Game is over for me as well... batted under .500 MIT, UPenn, Princeton, UNC-CH: rejected Boston University, Johns Hopkins, Emory: accepted
  2. No MIT email. Got a nice letter via snail mail, though. Add that to the "out" list... UPenn is killing me... Anyone have updates on them since last time?
  3. I've been neither accepted nor rejected... nothing about anything on the UPenn "Apply Yourself" website other than "Application Status: Complete". I emailed them at the beginning of February because they never updated my file (so it looked like I was missing material) and they told me that my application had been sent for review but it could be a "lengthy process and hoped to make decisions by the end of the month". I guess it's taking a little longer than they've expected...
  4. So from the results page, it looks like UPenn has sent out some more acceptances (as well as at least one rejection). Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, maybe a second wave of MIT acceptances?
  5. Same... I had never heard of Chem Dept interviews until people started posting here. Maybe they interview on a case-by-case basis or for special fellowships? Anyways, still waiting on UPenn, MIT and Harvard. Also, I originally applied to BU as more of a "safety school", but am still strongly considering it. Does anyone know much about their department, specifically in the field of Organic (i.e anyone who is an undergrad there or has some "inside knowledge")?
  6. Johns Hopkins has you book your own flight. Not sure how reimbursement works, though...
  7. Does anyone who applied to Penn (admitted or otherwise) have a "complete" application on the website? It still lists mine as incomplete (Subject scores not showing up). ETS said they sent them; Penn Chem graduate office said they were still looking though stuff in late December... it's already late January.
  8. Submitted JHU in the beginning-middle of December. I would assume most programs are rolling... can't say for sure, though.
  9. In at Emory and Johns Hopkins. Out at Princeton. Still on the fence for UPenn, UNC-CH, BU, MIT, Harvard. Anyone hear back from Penn or UNC yet?
  10. UptownWit: Can you (and others) reply with a little more about what specific programs you applied to (i.e generic chemistry or a specific sub-program)/outcome? I think it would be helpful for others to have this information rather than just knowing vaguely what schools someone has heard from. Thanks!
  11. Since when do Chemistry departments have interviews?
